In complex, overlapping issues, please choose a two-hour initial appointment — if you’re unsure, this is the safer choice. Single, more straightforward issues may only need a 90-minute initial appointment. Follow-ups are usually an hour.
I also offer one-off De-Stress sessions of one hour or two hours, and Deep Work sessions of four hours or six hours. Both are open to new and returning clients, with no initial consultation needed. Deep Work is ideal for those travelling from further away who’d like to cover several issues, with nutrition, lifestyle, breath, acupuncture and visceral therapy, in one visit. Full prices and 5-session packages are on the Prices & Booking page.

How to reach us
Whaley Bridge sits between Manchester and Buxton on the A6, roughly 8 miles from Buxton, 10 miles from Stockport and 16 miles from Manchester. If you are driving from Stockport or Manchester, turn right into Buxton Old Road at the first junction in Disley for a scenic shortcut through the High Peak. I see clients in the mornings and evenings, so we can choose a time that misses the worst of the traffic.
The station bus stop is 4 minutes from the clinic. The 199 runs every day; the others run mainly Monday to Saturday. See all bus times for Whaley Bridge →

Where we are
Our clinic is located in Whaley Bridge (SK23 7HE), in the picturesque High Peak area. The calm of the hills is integral to our clinic. This peaceful setting facilitates a focused, conscious approach to healing.
We serve the local communities of Whaley Bridge, Furness Vale, Bugsworth, Chinley, Chapel-en-le-Frith, Disley, Hayfield, New Mills, Buxton, Glossop, Poynton, Hazel Grove, Bramhall, Cheadle, Marple, Stockport, south Manchester and Sale, and we regularly welcome dedicated clients from Oldham, Rochdale, Chester, Liverpool and London who travel for our specialised care.
You can combine a visit to the clinic with a day in the hills. Walk up Eccles Pike for wide views across to Manchester and Kinder Scout: seeing the city small and far away is calming, and it widens your perspective. Or simply wander over the hills nearby. The flat canal towpath runs from the canal basin to New Mills, about 2.5 miles, and on to Marple, about 6.5 miles. In town, stop at the Bridge Bakehouse for a treat, have lunch at the Village Kitchen at low to moderate prices, or lunch or dinner at Bridge 42, and browse the second-hand books in the old canal warehouse at Books at the Basin. A walk, a slower pace and a treatment on the same day let you leave calmer than you came. Plan a day in the High Peak →
